Miss Cowboy & La Florida Farm
Under the blue La Florida sky
Cowgirls unite in the salty air
They’ve come from here and come from there
All of them laughing, without a care
Some are old friends, some are new
But of which you would not know
For a common thread unites them so
Horses gathered, stories shared
A ride through pines and palms prepared
The sun burns hot, no one cares
Nothing can burden this beautiful day
A garden hose provides relief
The fun is not yet done
Into a big red barn they run, to dance away the sun
A tasty feast and twangy tunes are shared by newfound friends
Boots scoot n’ boogie while hearts overflow
They hope it never ends
The sun sets behind moss lined oaks
A day cools into night
The women start to say goodbye
Hugging with all their might
With eb and flow, into life they go
So many new names they have in tow
They fade into the night
On this fateful Florida day
I find myself begin to pray
Everyone meets a Miss Cowboy
